I grew up in a Jewish home and attended the synagogue during high holidays, but shortly attended Sunday School classes. I was involved in Brith B’Nai Girls from 9th grade till 11th grade. I searched for God’s truth in my teenage years till, on March 18, 1982, I found Jesus as our Messiah and received Jesus into my heart when I was 17 years old. God called me to be a missionary to the deaf Jews in September 1982 when I was a Senior in High School. I graduated with a Bachelor of Religious Education in Mission from Tennessee Temple University in December 1988 and got an Ordained Minister on October 30, 2011.  In past I formerly worked with Jews for Jesus branches in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York and Deaf Opportunity Out Reach in Louisville, KY.

Currently, I am a freelance missionary to the deaf Jews and teaching at my deaf church, sometimes speaking at the deaf churches across the US. Also, I am hosting a deaf group on a trip to Israel a few times.

My name is Beatrice Pfaff and I serve as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Deaf Jewish Believers Board.

I was born in New Brunswick, NJ to Deaf parents and raised in a Jewish household with my brothers, three Deaf and one hearing.  I live in Franklin, Indiana, have two Deaf sons, Daniel and Joseph and three hearing grandchildren, Jago, Makas, and Dalia.

Currently, I am involved teaching children bible study on Sundays, ladies bible study on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Deaf Jewish Believers on Fridays.  I also serve on the Board of Directors of Deaf Harbor and have been involved in several organizations on their boards for many years.

After accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 22 at Gallaudet University,  I began spreading His gospel to my family and friends.

I yearn to lead Deaf Jewish people to come to know Jesus as our Messiah.

Shalom,
Beatrice Pfaff

I have been a Messianic Jewish believer since age 19 and an ordained minister under the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches and Ministers since 2011. I enjoy teaching Scriptures to passionate Bible students and have done so for more than 30 years.

I am also talented pyrography (wood-burning) artist, acrylic painter, and Judaica illustrator. My artwork has appeared on Switched at Birth, an American teen drama television series on the ABC Family network.

I grew up in a Jewish family of storytellers and am intrigued with Jewish parables. I shared many spiritual insights on Signs & Wonders, a ministry blog I founded in 2010. During my free time, I love to kick off my shoes, drink my favorite herbal tea, open my laptop, and transform into a raconteur, weaving Biblical truths into epic fantasy tales. This passion for writing has lead me to publish my first novel for young adults, Under the Purple Sky, which includes a deaf character. My vision is to write more stories with rich spiritual wisdom to bring people closer to Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah). My husband and I live in Sarasota, Florida, and I have two grown children.
